What did we have for tea ?

Now for tea today we had homemade garlic bread and it was yummy, also made 5 for the freezer.Now the pack of crushed garlic was 79p a pack at asda which i think is a bargain! now the base was from the pizza mix from approved foods .

vegetarian lasagna for the oldest daughter.

Now we got a meat free shepards pie for me and the lad and a meaty lasagna for hubby and youngest daughter.

The yummy cooked garlic bread.

COOKING PART 3

Okay so here we have Salmon pie, now this came about after i got my youngest a Jamie Oliver salmon pie made Youngs so I thought hmmmmmmmmmm it should be nice.Oh was I wrong she said it wasn't nice and she found 4 flakes of fish !!!!!!!!!!!!! .So I wasn't happy so i decide to make my own : ) Now I cooked the salmon in olive oil with herbs and salt and pepper. Then later i mixed it with peas, carrots, sweetcorn and peppers mixed in cheese sauce and topped with mashed spud's.So hopefully she'll love them, will let you know when she's done the taste test later in the week.

Part Two Cooking

So here we have Dr Oetker pizza mix : ) 99p bag from Approved foods got another 2 in me stash ! so all the pic's are of the yummy pizza's made tonight meaty and veggie ones. i made 13 pizza's 2night .

Now the pic's below are of the bean chillie that josh made .now there was loads left after me and josh had our lunch. So i got wraps put it inside then poured some over it.then cheese .So we got 2 in the freezer for another day.

So this is the yummy food so far.Come back 2morrow for some more yummy stuff.

Part One Cooking.

So here's what I've been cooking up so far in the kitchen. : )

So here's some of the stuff i used, well didn't use both tine of beans and tomatoes. Sent hubby to shop for tomato puree and onions as I forgot them yesterday.

So for the 2 meat eaters of the family, we got 2 lasagnas, 2 spag bol's. Which hubby will use for pasta bakes for him and the youngest.

Top picture has the mince, herbs and breadcrumbs, then I cooked the onions and mixed them with the other stuff. Which then made the 7 yummy burgers for both meat eaters. : )

EDIT:-

I forgot to mention when making the burgers make sure you press it firmly together in a ball before placing on the plate and making a burger shape. You can also add stuffing mix to this for more flavour and also makes it go further.

Use the same mix for meatballs.

SAVING MONEY EVERY WAY WE CAN !

WELL TODAY I ORDERED 10 BOTTLES OF FAIRY WASHING UP LIQUID FOR THE BIG PRICE OF NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) HOW DID I DO THAT WELL. HUBBY DOES SURVEYS SO WE HAD A £10 VOUCHER SO USED THAT .NOW THE OTHER WEEK WE GOT 45 ANDREX LOO ROLLS FOR £10 AS WELL. HAD TO PAY FOR THAT BUT STILL SAVED THERE.

NOW WE NEEDED A NEW SEAT FOR THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE CAR . WE PHONED THE DEALERS WHO WANTED £1550 FOR IT :O. WELL WE WENT ON EBAY AND KEPT SEARCHING AND FOUND A SCRAPPERS ON THERE ABOUT AN HOUR FROM US THEY HAD 1 IN FOR £36 :) AND THEY KEPT IT UNTIL THE WEEKEND FOR US. HUBBY FIT IT AND THAT SAVED US ANOTHER £40. (WITH MY HELP OF COURSE!)

NOW TODAY WE WAS GOING THROUGH THE BANK ACCOUNTS AND WAS SAYING ABOUT THE GAS AND ELECTRIC HAD GONE UP BUT I COULDN'T REMEMBER EXACTLY HOW MUCH .SO WENT ON THE BILL AND HUBBY SAYS HMMMMMMMMMMMM THEY CHANGED OUR TARIFF. SO HE RANG THEM AND THEY SAID WELL WE CHANGED IT LAST OCTOBER AS THE 1 WE WAS ON WASNT GONNA USED ANYMORE .NOW HUBBY SAID OOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSS I WAS SUPPOSED TO RING BACK THEN. THEY SAID NOT A PROBLEM . FOUND US ANOTHER CHEAPER TARIFF WITH THEM AND SAVED US £200 :).SO THIS MONTH IS HAPPY ALL ROUND.

Hey all in the world

Today was a gorgeous day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing. Then it happened......

One of the two-plus-3 team members had been sorting out some awesome mirrors (pictures to be uploaded soon.) And, it rained.

Yes it rained and before she could start painting, they were all wet. Which saddened us at two-plus-3.

So, to cheer not only us up, but to cheer you up too, here is a cute puppy =D

I know, not the usual kind of post we do. But we thought it would cheer you up.

My exhausting shopping trip at Sainsbury's (online)

Today was shopping day in the two-plus-3 house. It was so exhausting lugging all the shopping from the Sainsbury's trays at the front door, which were delivered by the kind gentleman with an orange van.

It was all good. The freezer is chock-a-block full of food. Mainly meat and what-not. (Also a sexy vimto lolly ;] )

The fridge was hit with lots of yoghurt, veg and fruit, cheese and yet more meat. (the fuel of men....... apparently)

And last, but not least the cupboard has cartons of chopped tomatoes (yes, you can get them in cartons, eco-friendly and what not), some lovely french brandy, to cook with (maybe a little tipple as we go along.............. ;] ) and lots of tasty stuffs.

BARGAIN!!!
